haley.henry is a wine bar in the heart of Downtown Crossing. Established in 2016, it is a magical place, where laughs are had, plans are made and neighbors come together to toast one another's health. It is meant to educate, to inspire & to introduce new wines and experiences to whomever walks through the door.

Haley Fortier

Owner/Operator 

Haley Fortier brings over 10+ years of  industry experience to the business, most recently finishing up a 7.5 year tenure with the BL Gruppo. Her passion for small production wines & tinned seafood, paired with a very scarce  Boston wine bar scene, gave her the motivation to bring something truly unique to the heart of Downtown Crossing.  

 A real tshirt & jeans type of gal, Haley enjoys sipping dirty martinis seaside. Her dog often mistakes her for a much taller, less hairier dog and elderly people often mistake her for a man. She wears a size 11 sneaker and is a premier veteran breakdancer.

Kristie Weiss

General Manager

Kristie Weiss hails from the Midwest state of Illinois. Over 10+ years she has worked within the walls of Blue Ginger, Alta Strada & No. 9 Park. She became a familiar face, in the lobby of the Lenox Hotel, as their Guest Services Manager until her departure in 2015. 
 
Kristie is a terrible skateboarder (as proven by a broken ankle),  brushes her teeth with Cortesé, and has an affinity for knock-knock jokes. Snapchat aficionado, she also owns everyone’s favorite bathroom accessory, The Squatty Potty and currently writes a blog about it titled “Squats up?”
 

David Cavilla

Executive Chef

David Cavilla jet skied over to us from his hometown beach bungalow in Marshfield, MA. After a long tenure with the BL Gruppo, most recently at the Butcher Shop, he decided to join our team as Executive Chef.

 The proud owner of a bare garden plot in the South End, David eventually hopes to someday open his own pizzeria. He enjoys a Manhattan, playing with his toothless dog Lucy, is obsessed with Forensic Files & in his quiet time enjoys cozying up with a sturdy hooded sweatshirt. You can follow his humor on Instagram @sweetsweetdavid and witness for yourself his infatuation with sandwiches.
