Haley Fortier

Owner-operator

"class clown"

Haley Fortier magically appeared in a small town called Woodsville, NH in 1977. Upon spreading her wings and relocating to Boston in 1997,  she has worked as a circus clown, a breakdancer and a professional carrier pigeon trainer.
Although we all wish this to be true, none of it is.

Haley Fortier brings over 10+ years of hospitality industry experience to the business, most recently finishing up her 7.5 year tenure working for Barbara Lynch at Sportello Restaurant in Fort Point Channel. Her passion for food & wine gave her the momentum and motivation to open a wine bar in Downtown Crossing in 2016. Her personality will hopefully keep it alive for many years to come.
A real t-shirt & jeans type of gal, Haley enjoys sipping a dirty martini seaside. Her dog often mistakes her for a much taller, less hairier dog and she wears a size 11 shoe.

Carolina Curtin

Chef de Cuisine

"professional bandana ambassador"

Boston native Carolina Curtin attended the University of Hawaii before graduating from the Maui Culinary Academy in 2008. A Maui resident for twelve years, Carolina spent four years honing her craft at Four Seasons Maui and subsequently at Mama’s Fish House. She returned to Boston at the behest of Barbara Lynch, to work at the acclaimed Menton, where she spent one year. She later worked at Sycamore & Liquid Art House.

Carolina enjoys drinking (take a deep breath) Diet Coke, ginger beer & espresso when she isn’t twerking to Beyoncè in the kitchen. She has a Cherry Blossom tree tattooed on her body that will eventually blossom into a Weeping Willow when she’s 90. She’s a diva in the kitchen, making her personal hashtag #sweetaspie&sassyashell

Kristie Weiss

General Manager

"official knock-knock joke teller"

Kristie Weiss hails from the Midwest state of Illinois but has spent the past 10+ years here in the Boston area working at a number of celebrated properties including Blue Ginger, Alta Strada & No. 9 Park. She became a familiar face in the lobby of the Lenox Hotel as their Guest Services Manager until her departure in 2015. She brings an incredible amount of talent and industry knowledge to the table through strategic planning, number crunching & financial foresight.

Kristie is a terrible skateboarder (as proven by a broken ankle),  brushes her teeth with rosé, and has an affinity for knock-knock jokes. Snapchat aficionado, she also owns everyone’s favorite bathroom accessory, The Squatty Potty and currently writes a blog about it titled “Squats up?”
